| [slm] hi im a new to this community thought i'd introduce myself! :) i came across this site on the native website and i was soooo impressed by it.. this is truley a cool site for islamic knowlege etc.. ;) and thers none of that rubbish that we have in todyas society's. one little query, don't you think you should have seperate communities for men and women? or is there already one here? i dunno im new here. take care brothers and sisters and remember the ummah in your duaas! khudafis fee imaanallah :-) |

| [slm] Sister, Welcome to the Madina Board! I hope you will enjoy your stay here and find it useful InShaaAllah. The board is fairly open, to all, although there are 2 specific subforums that are more gender biased. The "Akhwat Cafe" for Sisters, and the "Ikhwan Health Club" for the Brothers. Although the issues on each forum might be more relevant to Sisters or Brothers respectively, No strict division is enforced. One can request that Sisters or Brothers refrain from looking at a particularly "private" topic, by including in the subject line something like [Sisters/or Brothers eyes only]. This is still an unenforced request, and you have to use your judgement on whether to post there , or not. For more private matters, sending private messages to speicifc board members is probably prefered. Welcome to the board, Sister! Gharib. [] |
