| Assalamu alaikum I just wanted to know whether the Mehdi will have a similar seal to the Prophet? Also, will the mehdi be in some way in contact with the Prophet? Please can you quote references to support your answers. Jazakallah. wa alaikum assalam |

| I was told that the Mehdi (and his family) will be similar to the Prophet (pbuh) by name only. He will have the name Muhammad, his mother's name will be Aminah, etc etc. Never heard about the seal though because from what I know it's only found on Prohpets and the Mehdi is not. I think he will something like a freedom fighter like Salahiddin. Wa Allahu A3lam Emerald |
