| Assalamu alaikum I know that there is a difference of opinion on marking the death of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Please can someone explain to me with evidence as to why we do not mark it. Also, can you explain to me why people continue to mark it despite the evidence. Do they interpret the evidence differently? Jazakallah |

| [slm] some people have come across evidences that others have not. some interpret the same set of evidences differently. and some work with principles that differ from others. |
