I am finally learning how to relax

I have decided my life had been way to much busy and stressful the last 3 years and have taken to laying on a hammock each night to relax. Sometimes it is only for 5 or 10 minutes. Other times 30 to 45 minutes.
I use to love to read and have not been even hardly doing that these last few years. But now I get a cup of tea, a book and go out to the hammock each evening. The other evening I actually took a blanket out and for over an hour watched the full moon come up from behind the trees up into the sky :-*
What do you do to relax?

[slm]...

Relax!?  R - E - L - A - X?  Eh?  What is that?  Sorry sis, have no idea what you're talking about.

Note to self:  find out what relax means.....augh!  But first, I have to finish this wedding.  Then chaperone Wild Waves.  Then prepare for our fundraiser to build our school.  Yeah let's see, we need meat, rice, veggies, dessert, cookers, slaughterers, servers, parkers......hmmm....oh yeah then another wedding in CALIFORNIA, got to get back in time for another wedding (who volunteered me...I oughtta...) Doh!!!  Work, work, and deadlines.  oh yeah...and then this...then that...I do not have the time.  *shakes head and shrugs it off*

btw...the youngest of my 3 stooges' nikkah was just hours ago.  Do you know who I'm talking about Jannah and se7en?

Yeap....he's the last to go.  So please make du'as for them.  She's a convert from Buddhism.

Allah (SWT) bless...

Ma-asalaamah....

Many ways to relax in this world:
Spritually, u can relax by praying and doing gud deeds.
Phisically, u can relax by having a gud sleep and doing all that nice stuff u enjoy doing.
And simply, U CAN REALX BY RELAXING. ;D

Simply , write all ur problems on a sheet of paper and tear the page into many pieces and throw them away. The problems will go away.

This reminds me of something  (not to change the subject)  my family did for the young children when someone died.
When we were sad they would have us write a letter to the person who died and we would either put it on a balloon and send it off or make a raft and float it down a creek  :) It was just something they had us do to help us deal with our grief. I remember this when my grandfather died when I was 8. We were told God sees all and would relay the message to our loved one.

My passion is reading.  But work schedule has made it impossible as I am exhausted all the time. So, I relax by sleeping any time I get the chance.  And sometimes, sleep becomes elusive because of exhausation.  I am back to my excercise and hope to find some relaxation there.

[slm] i love to paint, Insha Allah.  When i finish the painting of the pumpkins i will Insha Allah be tackling a landscape.

On Sunday i got a bout 5 minutes of someone trying to teach the "Fujitsu" technique of relaxation.  Anyone know about this?

Apparently we breathe all wrong and that's what cause us not to relax...hmmm breathe breathe breathe.  I was told on saturday that i actually stop breathing when i am doing something and let go of my breath when i finish.  That might explain the splitting migraines. *sigh*  So next goal is to learn how to breathe on order to relax. Insha Allah....

The way I relax is, that I do Wuzu or ablution and start reading my Quran in a sweetest tone I can. This way i don't feel tired.

Another way i relax is that i have some stretches and pulls and a little exercise. Believe me stretching is a good way to relax and you can get information on "ERGONOMICS".
