| Asalaam alikum, I read in one of your FAQ that there was a person asking about what will be the reward for the good or righteous woman. Because Allah(s.w) has said that righteous men will be rewarded with Houris and what will righteous women get? The prophet has said in many of his Hadith that, men who will enter Jannah will be just like Prophet Yusuf(a.s). So please take a few minute with me and try to imagine how Prophet Yusuf was. Do you remember his story with the ladys that cut thier hands with kinves when he just appeared before them? Those ladys were not just normal ladys of that time, they were ladys of the rich and respected families. Am sure if you look at a rich woman nowadays each man will surely desire her. This is because they have the resources to apply or buy all those expensive things that will make them beautiful. So imagine my brother in Islam a rich and respected woman cuts her hand without feeling the pain and the blood droping from her hand by just looking at Prophet Yusuf. Can you see it now. Prophet Mohammed (A.S) also said Allah has divided the beauty of the whole universe into two halves. One half was given to the earth and all other things that are in it and aound it and the other half was given to Prophet Yusuf(a.s)!!! Walahi if you can just close your eyes and try to imagine that you can not even get there. A woman cuts her hand without feeling the pain and the droping blood because of a beautiful man!!! So my brothers and sisters in Islam, rightous men will have Houris and rightous women Allah has not forgotten them they will have men just like Prophet Yusuf(a.s). | Thanx bro... as we know in Jannah, both men and women will be rewarded and no injustice will be done to either of them. Life and pleasure there is what no eyes have every seen, no ears have heard, a delight unknown to us in our own human life terms. If any do deeds of righteousness, be they male or female, and have faith, they will enter paradise and not the least injustice will be done to them. (Qur'an 4:124) For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patent and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise-- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward. (Qur'an 33:35) One Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women, how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands. (Their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! To dwell therein forever! This is indeed the highest Achievement!" | :D Interesting question Jannah. I always thought that a person didn't really need to wear beautiful things in order to be beautiful. All you need is the cash (It's Cupid's arrow! :), lol)! Take the following examples: Micheal Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley once upon a time... Donald Trump and the new Mrs. Trump... Anna Nicole Smith and her deceased OLD hubby... Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley.....hmm Woody Allen and his adopted daughter (Ugh! :P).... etc, etc, etc...looks like beauty isn't everything! :) |

| :)..in my opinion beauty is on the inside ..personally i don't think any1 is ugly in my opinion every1 is positively beautiful! its the feeling of heart that counts ..how kindhearted ,how temper-controlled ,how tolerent a person is ..how respectful he/she is that is the true beauty ...how modest a person is ..a person who is *that kind of* beautiful is given respect also he/she has his/her own awe and respect type thing .........does that make sense to u ppl .............o my point of saying all that mumbo jumbo ---------no point im just bored of studying chemistry and i think my brain is all tangled in all these chemical formuleas... .."my fav word is beautiful" :-* |

| [slm] I asked the same question to my Islamiat Teacher and he replied that the man will be given Hurs and for the wormen that they will be Hurs for the man.... I had just said what i listened from him... though he didn't give me any proof but still.... |

| [slm] I read an interesting article a while ago on this very topic. It mentions what the men and the women will get in Jannah, with daleel from the Quran and ahadeeth. If I find it, I'll post it here, inshaAllaah. |

| [slm] I read of a hadith in which the Pophet was asked if men get Hurs in jannah, then what do women get? He replied (paraphrasing), what the heart hasn't desired, the eyes havent seen and what the ears haven't heard. If someone knows of a reference, I'd like to know what it is! ma asalaamah and take care |
