How long do periods last?

i wanted to ask how long id it suppose to last?? in a relatives case it barely lasts foor 5 days is it normal??

That is very normal. Average is 4 to 5 days but can be 3 to 7 days. Stress, illness, meds and other things can storten or length it.

Sr Azizah is right, it's very normal. There's a useful book by Bilal Philips on this topic: "Islamic Rules on Menstruation and Post-Natal Bleeding".
