| What is the best Quran you ever heard? |

| slm, I am making a special CD of some of the most beautiful Quran recitations. It's definitely a difficult task with so much to choose from, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some amazing recitations/recommendations of reciters and their best surahs to add? I personally think these are the best things i've heard so far: Surah Mu'minoon recited by Shaatri Surah Ya'sin recited by Efaasi Surah Yusuf recited by M. Buraak Surah Fatiha recited by Ghamdi End of Ramadan dua by M. Jibreel Eid of Ramadan dua by Ghamdi |

| you cannot miss surah hadid by ghaamidi, surah waqi`ah by efasy and i have a soft spot for ajamys recitation, any surah he recites moves me. |

| [wlm] wow jazakamullahu khairan for all the suggestions!! there are subhanallah so many great suggestions... what i ended up doing was putting only a few surahs with some other audio stuff, on one cd u only have so much room if its audio and not mp3 :( so the top surahs i picked ended up being my favorites ;) surah muminoon by shaatri, surah rahman by efaasi, and surah yasin by efaasi, and i soooooo wanted to do surah qaf by ajami but it was just 2 mins over :( and then i added an athan and a names of Allah thing and a marriage hadith.. if anyone wants those in mp3 let me know inshallah and maybe i can hook y'all up ;) |

| [slm] can't believe you left out Mishary Rashid...masha'allah his recitation is the best i've heard. soothes my heart every time i hear a few words. anything from juz 30 is beautiful, in case you want to re-record ;) |

[slm] I really would like those mp3's in advance, I'm trying to create a CD to burn, but it won't let me! (I think I broke the drive) ... Ooops did I do that? :) I don't know who would be the best or (favourite) but I like Abdul-Hadi Kanakary. I was just listening to him out of no where cuz I woke up really early for Fajr! [wlm] Well that's who I like.... (for now) ;) |

| [slm] Jannah...have you ever heard of a Qari called Qari Ziyaad Patel? He is South African (he lives right near me), and mashaAllah, wow, he has the *most* amazing voice!!! Unfortunately, none of his Quraan recitals are on the internet... :'( My friend had him recite Quraan at her wedding reception. OMG!!! We were like all wowed!!! :-* Like a voice from Jannah 8) Anyway, if you can get hold of anything by him, that would be worth it! Salam Shahida :-) |
