| [slm]... Good grief! When will all y’all boys grow up? My brother is in his late 30s and last night, he decides to freak my mom out. Here is how it went: Bro: Ma’ someone stole my car! Mom: What? Someone stole your car? Bro: I just went out for a smoke and my car is not there anymore. Mom: Ya Rubbi…Little one, wake up! Someone stole your brother’s car! Little one! LITTLE ONE call the police someone stole your brother’s car! I wake up and look at the clock and it’s 2:58 AM. That’s right, he decided to play a practical joke at 2:58 in the morning. Me: Where’d you park your car to get it stolen? Bro: Right here. Me: In our garage? Bro: Yeah. I was just out for a smoke and the car is gone. I look out the window and the car really was not there. Mom: Call the police. Me: You sure your car got stolen? Bro: It’s not here. (with a big grin on his face) I pick up the phone and he suddenly goes: There’s no need to call the police. Mom: Are you crazy? You need to call the police RIGHT NOW! Me: Mom wait. Bro? Why should I not call the police? Bro: Cause I hit a flat tire on my way home and had to drop it off at the mechanics to fix it. Me: You! Do you know what time it is? Real funny! Mom: Why did you do that? Bro: Cause I wanted to see how your face looked when I told you that and what you would do? Mom: MMMMM (an angry MMMM) Me: You almost gave mom a heart attack. He’s just laughing. I go back to sleep shaking my head. So what’s up guys? Are you ever going to stop playing pranks? Hm? Ma-assalaamah….. |
