| salamalikum all, in the previous archives i read this: when the angel of death is in your dream it most likely means that you are ready to die for Allah(SWT) well, a few months ago i had a dream about death and i think i even saw the angel of death. what does this mean? is the above statement true? |

| AA "when the angel of death is in your dream it most likely means that you are ready to die for Allah(SubHana Wa Ta`ala) " No-one knows when he or she will die. This is part of the unseen, only known to Allah SWT. |

| Why is it I do not have any fancy dreams like that? I did dream thatI was playing Pebble Beach and I broke 80. I am not sure what that was all about, but I thought I had died and gone to heaven. |

| [slm] there's this one lecture i was at where the Moulana said :- when yu have a bad dream, yu must read a special Duah. I could not remeber the Arabic version, but the english meaning is "Ya Allah, please make the dream good for me and bad for my enemies" Enemies to be interpreted as enemies of Islam and not the guy who picked a fight with you last week....hehe Also he said, that one must be careful who they talk to about the dream. I gather only learned scholars are permiitted to interpret dreams and it's not therefore not so good for people like you and i to attempt to interpret the meaning of such dreams. Sorry, i do not have anything solid to back this up, just re-iterating what the Moulana said. Anyone know the Arabic version of that Duah or can verify this info for those requiring verification please? Jazak Allah. |

Strange, but that is what i means. and bro humble muslim is right, no one really knows when and where and how his/her death will occur. we should just remember that death can strike at any time, so we should be ready by doing god deeds, and repenting for our sins. |

| [slm] wow havent posted here in a while, but i read ur concern about ur dream, becuase i had something similar... i saw the angel of death in my dream and went to Shiekh Mukhtar Maghrawi about it, he said that it means ur in a good position to die. this does NOT mean u WILL die in a few days or so.... it just means ur level of iman is at a good point that if you were to die, then now would be a good time ..... but no suiciding urself :-* salams nouha :-X |
