Insha Allah my new girl puppet for dawah...

What name would you give her?  Abdullah is her brother's name.

[slm] perhaps a name that is recognisable to both Muslims and non-muslims alike:-

Mariyam / Miriam
Zarina
Sarah / Saira
Ayesha / Aisha

What do you use the puppet for Sr. Kathy?  She looks so sweet Masha Allah.

Well, I am thinking that there will be a couple of years when our holidays don't fall around Christmas, the time teachers feel they have to be multicultural.

So if we have a girl puppet, we can make up some skits about diversity, Muslims in the public schools, etc... Want to be ready with a program if, when, they call!

Insha Allah, once she arrives and hijabby ready, My son can use Abdullah and I "insert name here" can use the girl puppet. It is really all about dawah.  Also, our masjid is finally warming up to my ideas, so maybe develop some skits for our own Muslim kids.

Ironically, just a year ago they did not want Abdullah anywhere near their kids, and now they ask when I am going to bring him again. I brought up the point of using funds to purchase a puppet, and they agreed immediately.

I can't wait to get her!!
