[slm] I don't know whether I have posted this earlier or not, but this is very effective dua: after the fajr sunnah: say the duroodi Ibrahimee, the one we pray in Salah after the Tashahud recite the Surah Fatiha, with bismillah and aameen - 40 times say the duroodi Ibraminee say aameen blow (dry) on the patient say the fajr fard do not talk to any one or say anything other than this until you have prayed the fajr fard. This is to be done for 41 days. Insha`Allah the recovery, if Allah's will, will occur before then If recovery is not in qadr, the period of pain will shorten. may Allah (swt) five quick and complete shifa to all aameen |

[slm] no brother, this is not exactly a Hadith that I know, but Sahih Hadith does allow for surah Fatiha and for blowing on the patient. This could be from a weak Hadith, but it has been in use by my mother, and my family from both parents has been ahle-Hadith. I suspect this is from Shah Waliullah or Shah Abdul Aziz. and it has worked in at least two case that I know of: in my case, and the son-in-law of my brother. The duroodi Ibrahimi is also a requirement in making dua, from another Hadith. I had also felt that dua should be exactly as told by the prophet [saw], but over the years I have come to the conclusion that the ahle-hadith are being too narrow-minded here. wAllahu Alam |
