| Jannah, When you tell someone to ignore something, then it will be impossible to ignore. Of course we cannot see it, so it will be out of site out of mind. But now I am obsessing with it. When will it be bacK? What are you doing with it? Will it be really different? Did I do something wrong? Was it broken? Did I break it? Will it be 2 days? 2 weeks? 2 years?............How do I stop these voices in my head?............Oh well, I am going to go swimming with my kids. My 3 year old saw the Olympics and wants to swim on TV. I guess I will keep my mind occupied somehow. |

| Yeah! Keep it! Even if temperatures rise sometimes, they are manageable. And hey, argueing/debating and breaking some sweat is healthy. My opinion. |

Ma-assalaamah....[/quote] [slm] I agree. The Ummah Headquarters was interesting and a good source of current events information. Often, I'd find links to articles which I'd have missed otherwise. And, not every topic led to arguing, did it? Actually, this board was one of the few I could think of where people could discuss current events relating to Muslims and still maintain civility and common sense even while disagreeing. Pearl :-) |
