[slm] www.jelbab.com had swim suits earlier in the season. also a loose track suit over a regular swimsuit doesnt work too bad, though it is heavy and soggy when you get out. |

[slm] Jelbab.com gets their suits from a Turkish company called hasema at www.hasema.com. The sight is all in Turkish so I don't know how much cheaper it would be to order direct, but I'm assuming it would be at least a little as I think Jelbab.com is overpriced. You could e-mail them in English unless you know Turkish Anyway, I bought one at the beginning of the summer and I love it. I can take my little one swimming on a hot day!!! [wlm] :-) |

Just another brit/american difference i guess:) [wlm] |

[slm], For sisters looking for a modest swimsuit that covers to the knees to wear in the presence of other sisters only, you could also check out this site: www.wholesomewear.com. It's not a Muslim site, but it is very interesting, and the suits look very practical and comfortable. Couldn't vouch for it though, as I haven't ordered from them, and don't know anyone who has. Very interesting though. hope |

[slm] They're pretty comfy. The only complaint is that water gets trapped under the hijab and you're constantly having to pull it away from you're head so you can hear again. Small price to pay to be able to swim and observe haya. [wlm] |
