Mahram and those not permissibe in marriage?

Salam, I have a quick question(especially for girls). What is the difference between a mahram and "those not permissible to you in marriage"?? Do you still have to cover in front of them?(like your mom's bro, or your grandfather).Jazakallah Khairun.

[slm] mahram = those that are not permissible for you to marry = those in front of whom you do not have to cover. wallahu a'lam.
