| slm, I am removing the Ummah Community Center as it has been from the board. During these times I feel it is necessary to do this to protect this website, my family, myself and others that access and benefit from this website. We've seen what events in recent history have been like towards persons/organizations that have have not been in line with current politics. The recent case of indymedia and the brother in Iowa have been testament to that, along with recent happennings in the area I live in. Perhaps in the future I can re-open it, but for now it is closed. PS I would like to later on have something in place of the UCC where muslims can go and share their feelings/support each other - the original purpose of this board. |
