| salams, today i found out two awesome things.... this non muslim friend of mine wanted to borrow the quran because out of no where...he had the sudden urge to read it... alhumdulilah :) and the other thing is that as i was in work today, sitting on someones desk puttin stuff into the computer... i noticed that there was a document on the desktop marked "the quran" ... so i asked ...and a coworker of mine told me that hes interested in islam.... isnt this awesome :)...lol i was just so happy.. :D its a big thing for me (and shud be for all of us) because the school i go to has like only three hijabis... and 99 percent non muslims..and very ignorant ones.... inshallah Allah(SWT) will show them the right path :D salams nouha:) |

| That ALways makes me happy ^_^ My building in university ( communications and media) has only me as a muslim >_< I was SOO surprised .. and a tad scared.. just a tad though ~_^ It's amazing how ignorant non-muslims can be of Islam and the beautiful values and wisdom it comprises of. All most associate with islam is the recent *terror* label O.o We have a bigger job to get on with da'wah .. May Allah show us the best paths to do this .. But, my younger bother was once asked for a Quran by a friend of his, (older than him) It later turns out the dude wanted to learn verses he can use aGAInst Islam in his mission to convert my brother to Christianity o.O Alhamdulillah, my brother's become more Islamically aware since then and is still learning. erm.. sorry.. I've ranted on for a bit. |

| [wlm] wow nouha you go girl! that's great to have educated ppl in ur office... alhamdulillah here i haven't gotten too much harassment (just over the latest stuff happenning in the area) isn't it like amazing how sometimes the most unlikeliest ppl you meet are interested in islam! like i would have never thought.. subhanallah.. guess Allah guides who He wills and we shouldn't assume certain ppl would never be interested in islam? |
