| [slm] all The date has been set. Due to health reasons, my gynae has confirmed that I will have to give birth via C-section on the 4th Oct Inshallah. To compound matters, he has advised me to also go for ligation as further pregnancies might jeopardise my health. I have thought long and hard about it and my husband and I have agreed to the ligation. Childbirth is a blessing from Allah SWT as is the child being born. I do not, in any way, regret these complications and thank Allah SWT for His Mercy in allowing me this chance of having another child. However, I am kinda apprehensive about the surgical procedures, especially the ligation. It is an understatement to say that the news has sadden me immeasurably. I would appreciate your kind du'ahs and thoughts for our safety and that Allah SWT would accept my decision and shower His Blessings on us. Shukran jazeelan. Wassalam |

One of my favourite ayah is (not the exact words) " We plan and Allah plan , and Allah is the best planner" So, nothing happens without the will of Allah , Inshallah everything will turn out fine and soon you will be able to hold a beautiful baby, Ameen. | [slm] Well Sis, not long to go now! I am counting down the days until your bundle of joy first glimpses light and first breathes air. I am sure this will be a wonderful and joyful experience for you and your husband, whatever the circumstances and consequences. Hang on in there and don't forget to keep us posted!!! | [slm] Umm Wafi Counting the days, and intensifying the prayers, that inshaAllah, everything will go well for you and baby:) Wish I could be there to hold your hand :-* It's your first c/section? Just wait, you'll see how wonderful it is as well, inshaAllah. We usually have the father there while we are doing the c/sections, so he gets to hold his wife's hand and see the baby when he/she is born, it's such an amazing sight, mashaAllah. The dads usually forget all about the mums when the baby goes off to be weighed and measured, they disappear too ;D gives the woman some time to herself ;) You are in our prayers!
