Gandaghee is a 28 minute DVD of comedy clips made by some brothers in the DC area. One major clip looks at funny things that we've all encountered while praying, another is an infomercial for a 'halal audio mix tape' with islamic lyrics to popular music. Other clips poke fun at other Muslim type things. It is seriously, outrageously funny. If you don't have a sense of humor, YOU WiLL NOT UNDERSTAND, so just hit next topic right now. But if you do have a sense of humor and get self-styled Islamic humor, this is great entertainment. I would say you have to be young, but my dad thought it was funny too even if he didn't understand the references. Buy it for your MSA or just have a little party and watch it together. It's very good quality. It's alot of fun It was sold out at ISNA and apparently still sold out, but you can pre-order at www.gandaghee.reflexstudioproductions.com I give it :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X 5 stars out of 5... I wish it was longer too!! PS Now if only ds-films would come out with a dvd as well... |

All I can say is jazaak Allahu Khayr for your kind words, it seriously means ALOT to us that you enjoyed our movie enough to write a review of it. | [slm] i agree w/ jannah, i was fortunate to get my hands on a copy in the bazaar. my mom and i could not stop laughing (along w/ the rest of the audience) when we watched it at ISNA. i brought it home and my dad thought the salat part esp was really funny :) in fact, it was my MOM who kept telling my dad he had to watch it! nice to see muslim entertainment able to be cross generational :) keep up the wonderful work :) p.s. my friends wanted to show it at an msa meeting, but i'm not sure if they have to ask permission to show it in a larger audience? |

| Maaaaashallah. gandaghee had me rolllllin... im just jealous that the albany boys got to see it like 10 months ago when ya drove up during that huge snowstorm...:( but it definately was hilariously entertaining. it wasnt cheesy like some other "msa" type videos out there. the qwality and edittin was off the hook. and it was totally a movie that all kindsa muslims wud love. what i loved abt it was how the humor was clean but not corny. my fav part was def the halal mixtape... you guys shud really do that fo real tho. im lookin forward to gandaghee part 2, ya got skillz mashallah! |

| [slm] Nah i can understand da slizzangs The first part of the movie that we had come up to Albany to show was maaaad ghetto so alhumdulillah that alot of peeps didnt see it. Compared to what the movie looks like now, i cant imagine even putting that movie on DVD. Plus the Mixtape scene was not even made yet so the movie wasnt anywhere near what yall saw at ISNA. Zubee and those guys up there are HILARIOUS. I remember we watched the movie at a bro's house in the middle of a blizzard and we were all just crackin up. That was definitely one of the best weekends ive ever had. Ruqayyah- You definitely can show it at an MSA event, just make sure that people know they can go to www.gandaghee.reflexstudioproductions.com and BUY their own copy insha Allah. If you want, we can discuss giving you guys a bunch at a bulk rate, and you can show the promo version and sell the real thing at the event as a fundraiser for your MSA. | [slm] just a small correction "gandaghee" means "dirt", not "dirty" "dirty" would be "ganda" (for males), or "gandee" (for female), and "ganday" for plural. |

The whole time while watching at ISNA, i kept pushing my friend off the chair.. my poor chica!
