| [slm] Recently I've had an upswing of hate mail from people: to email, to the madina anonymous postings, and just encounters in person. Almost like 9/11 but not at that level, mostly due to what people have seen in the media recently. This usually means that hate crimes against Muslims and other ignorance is sure to follow. So this is a warning for sisters and bros to please be careful inshaAllah during these weeks. May Allah protect us all. |

| [slm] It is sooo true. A 14 year old african girl got shot 6 times from a car driving passed her. This happened just a few streets away from me. [wlm] |

| assalaamu alaikum I don't think it was religious-hatred violence that caused that though. |
