i have a muslim workmate, i do not really like. i have had many problems with this person
and have been extremly hurt deeply by this person.

now ramadan is coming i dont know how to get over it, to get away with feelings of hatred
towards this person. i feel like i am in grieving process the feelings wont go away what
makes it worse this person appears to be happy

i dont want any kind of involvement with this person, i just want to forget what happened
between us, i just need help to forget and not to hate this person so much

ma`salam

We can choose to hate...he must have hurt you deeply. A friend of mine from
Dacha
lives with his brother and a some kind of cousin. The cousin is always spreading
gossip, doesn't clean after himself, and is somewhat selfish. My friend is so
angry it's making him sick.
Like your friend this man is happy too! He is unaware his behavior is hurtful
so I suggested to my friend don't let this man rent space in your head.
pray for guidance ..it's hard I know but hate breeds hate which is why
you must forgive your muslim brother. This is the message given to
Muhammad peace unto him. We may all be muslims...but we are all
individuals with different personality's. Love him but don't allow him to cross your boundaries...guilt free!

Hate is such a strong word. It can inflict so much suffering.

The problem seems to be the other person. Does he/she seem bitter, hateful or otherwise unplesasnt?

Don't let them get too close to you, but keep an open line of communications to them. They might simply be frustrated and lonely.
