| i am going to be buying my first abaya, inshallah. does anyone know of any good online stores with reasonable prices?should i get a simple one or a grand one? any reviews for any particular stores? where do u guys get your abayas from |

| [slm] MashaAllaah, congratulations on deciding to wear the abayah :) I personally get mine from the Middle East (or ask my dad to get me since he goes often), or I sew it ooorr I just get it from an Islamic Bookstore around where I live. I suggest simple abayahs, and leave the grand ones for special occasions or something. I don't personally buy online but I hope they're of some use, inshaAllaah. |

| salam! you all have to check out www.hayaclothing.com mashallah i met the sister's sister who created this clothing line tonite and she was wearing one of the abayas and mashallah it was really beautiful! nice material w/ a nice shape to them too! i'm thinkin of getting the empire waist one..... :-* |

| [slm] Hey thanks for the ling to haya clothing. I've seen her clothes on www.caravansaray.com and I thought they were similar to those on www.shukronline.com (which I love), but cheaper! Also on the caravan page are clothes by Rabia designs which are VERY cute. www.rabiadesigns.com has a lot more selection but are in the process of moving right now. I've also ordered from www.alhediya.com from kuwait. They also make things to your size and are of good quality. The shipping might be a little expensive, but they often have free shipping deals and a lot of sales. There's always www.jelbab.com. They have a lot of selection and some very pretty abayas but are generally overpriced unless you can catch them while they're having a good sale. www.modestyisbeautiful.com has some really cute stuff. I've never ordered from her, but a friend of mine knows and speaks highly of her (the owner). Hope this helps, [wlm] :-) |
