| [slm] everyone! Since I have been complaining for so many months, and in so much stress, I thought I should share my good news with ya'll for a change of scenery:-* Alhamdulillah, I am finally done with medical school!! woohoo ;D It has been a long and treacherous journey ;) And alhamdulillah, my results are good! Jazakum Allahu khairun for putting up with me, and for all your prayers! Graduation is on 7 December inshaAllah. It seems like just yesterday Se7en and Ruqayyah were graduating, and I thought, Ya Rabb, will my time *ever* come? Alhamdulillah:) Lots to do till then...like de-stress (which I am achieving by doing NOTHING, and swimming and spending time with my family and friends). Let me also take this opportunity to ask everyone for forgiveness for anything I have done to hurt or offend you. My interent persona is a tad harsher and more abrupt than the real me, I do not mean any offense, inshaAllah, even when the tone of my posts is rather harsh. | doctor shahida, congratulations!!! don't kill the patients now, ok? :D masha'Allah, I am happy for you. a good and simple destressing exercise is to jump on your bed and any bed in the house. you will just feel great afterwards. chocolates are great too . my brother is going to south africa early december. i think he will be in johansberg but not sure. would you like anything, I mean anything, from canada? you know we have great maple syrup here :) IM me. take care doc, Mona. |

| Masha allah al hamdu lilalahi call me bias if you will but all the best doctors are muslims especially the sisters! What a challenging and overwhewlming achievement! may Allah keep you sister and don't lose sight of any part of your faith as you already know you will see alot of good and bad in this field. | [slm] JazakumAllah everyone!!! And AMEEN to all your Duaas, thansk so much!! I got a really good post for internship, but I am kinda having second thoughts about it. I guess I didnt have enough Imaan to apply for the other post-the one i wanted-as my first choice, cuz I thought they would never give it to me anyway(no *special* circumstances, like not married, dont own a house, dont have kids etc)...now I need some prayers, am going to the hospital I *really* wanna be at, to ask if they have a post available. Mad Duaas needed... If it is best for me, inshaAllah, Allah swt will make it easy for me!!! Ellie! Sis, am an expert baby deliverer!!!! ;) Just give me dates and times! Seriously, if it is medico-legally ok in Germany for me to do that, it would be my pleasure!! And if not, I can still be there to hold your hand and make sure they do it the right way :) :-* |

I have already set up 2 practices: 1 in the local mosque, where I consulted every evening during Ramadaan ;) and the other over the phone, which I can tell you, is a *different* kind of practice!! ;D So yeah, Attia, I guess the next step would be a cyber-practice...:) Seriously sis, if you ever need anything, just IM or email me, I'm just a cybershot away, inshaAllah.
