I decided I have let myself go physically, emotionally and spiritually. And stress has taken its toll which I decided to take control. I joined a gym to work out in, found a place to get a facial. And for stress and such I decided to treat myself to massages. I called a place recommended to me and a man answered. I asked if there were women massage therapist and he replied yes. After I schedualed an appt he said, You know, man or woman we are proffesionals and I would hate to see you pass up a massage cause of a man. I replied for moral and modesty isssues I prefered only a woman and even go to only female doctors. He said they respect peoples comforts and choices but to keep in mind they are proffessionals and if it were for personal reasons that was cool but no where in the Bible does it say you cannot get a massage from a man. I replied but the Quran says something different. To which he replied. OH!!!!!!!!!!!! Your!!!.............yur!!!!!............yur!!!!!!! (studder pause studder) and I replied ........ A MUSLIM It was funny and you had to have heard the conversation. BTW is there any reason if modest and covered properly one should not have a massage for stress and medical reasons from a member of the same sex? |
