Du'a Request

I am not sure where to post this. I feel kinda guilty using up the board space for   a personal reason when there are a lot more serious situations for people all over the world.

My husband had to rushed me to the hospital last Sunday because I had contractions. I didn't even know it was contraction {silly me}.  At 28 weeks, that's not a good sign. Once we reached the hospital, the doctor confirmed I was seriously contracting.Alhamdulillah, we were there on time. I was  given medication to stop the contractions and the baby get his dose of tripple injection to mature the lung in case I didn't stop contracting.I forgot all about breathing and keeping calm because I didn't expect it. My husband calmed me and between breathing and contractions, I was really grateful to Allah that I could still remember to do dhikr! But at least now I know what to expect when I am in labour. I had to be in the labour room for 24 hours observation watching disney channel. :-/

Now, I'm on a week medical leave and rest from work. I was reminded that even though I can walk around and not feeling any pain , it does not mean that the baby and I are out of the danger. I've had conversations with the baby not to listen to my body and to hang in there until he's suppose to come out.So, far he's a good fighter.

If you have time, please include my baby and I in your du'a. In fact make du'a for all the expecting mothers on this board and the world.

Wassalam,
Lin & baby

ASalamAlaikum Sister,
Congradulations on your upcoming new birth. May Allah bless you to have a healthy, beautiful baby, and let you have an easy labor and delivery (INSHALLAH).
I would like to share with you , INShALLAH, a helpful tip while in labor. Keep repeating and saying in your mind, Bismillah, Bismillah, over and over, and also, at the onset of each contraction, take a deep breath through your nose as deep as you can, and let it out as slowly as you can. You will find this exercise to be very helpful. What happens is, as the baby pushes toward birth, your lower body, especially your back feels as if it opens up,but when you take a deep breath it lifts the diafram, and gives relief for as long as you can hold your breath. When you know you are about to deliver is when the pain out last the deep breathing. INSHALLAH, this exercise will work for you.
(May Allah forgive me for any mispelling of words).

A Prayer To Share for all to read:
WE don't have all the answers,
but ALLAH does.
If we listen, he will tell us in his own words.
If we wait, he will show us in his own time.
Our part is to listen with IMAN (faith) :), and wait with
Sabr (patience).
ALLAH's part is already done.

Make a dua for me also. Iam seeking my journey to Hajj, and praying for
Sabr (patience), as I prepare first, to put everything in the proper perspective, to please ALLAH.
