| At my work there is a blonded girl that sits in the cubicle next one to me. She hums some tune every time of the days. It is annoying, and it is the Christianity music. She even was having discussion with the secretary about the christian music not having the bad words. What should I do? a). Sing Tala Al Badaru Alayna b). Sing Tala Al Badaru Alayna and use my desk as the duff. c). Hummm Tala Al Badaru Alayna. d). Humm her tune in a mocking way. e). Hum Tala Al Badaru Alayna everytime she hums her tune. f). Tell her to please not to be the humming g). Demonstrate my bhangra dance talent h). something else i). something else plus letter |

| Anonymous letter being nice Something to the effect Dear Co-worker, Although I admire your upbeat and positive attitude at work, your humming distracts me and my concentration. Please refrain from it, or at least try to limit it to the break room. Thank you ANONYMOUS Don't be spiteful. She may just be a very happy lady and doesn't realize she is doing it half the time. :D :D ??? :) what is g??? Dance??? How about a sign at the entrance to your cubical. | What does the fact that she is attractive have to do with this?? Curious.... I think the letter is a good idea, or you could approach her and tell her politely that is distracts you. Don't be rude by mocking her....how would u like if she mocked u? goodluck |

| Sunnah.. lol... apparently she is "attractive" and "blondish" so this must be indeed difficult for anonymous...maybe it is the GIRL that is the distraction and not the hummming hmm?? well anonymous just TELL her There's this girl at work that plays her music all the time. I just ask her nicely if she can turn it down and she does... |

| [slm] I think you should break out in Tala Al Badaru Alayna (with the duff) whenever you're on a break. Just to represent. And also coz it's sooo coool when people know how to play the duff properly, so maybe you can practice at work. Don't hold back (so go all out, and don't just hum it!!), eventually she'll ask you to stop, and then you can ask her to return the favor. Alternatively, maybe she'll like it and you guys can perform a daily duet. Mad cool. Wasalaam. |

What's the problem of simply asking her politely to stop or quiet down at least so he can't hear her........do u really think representin back to annoy her will solve things........she may just get mad and be louder! What's the point of stirring things up more??? HE'S AT WORK.....how can he practice playing the duff???? ??? |

| Why don't you record a comment from Simon Cowell from (Pop idol, X-factor, American idol) on a tape recorder. Next time she starts humming just play the tape. |

| talk with your boss or someone who is higher on the ladder than u two and ask him to ask her in a nice way without telling her who complained. state to your boss that ur not against the music or anything, but that its hard for you to concentrate with someone making noises whatever it maybe. I would add something like "I am sooo adhd" with a little laugh *smile*. whatever u decide, DONT go the route where u play ur own music. sometimes its best to approach things directly instead of beating around the bush. |

Sister Sunnah_ and Sister Jannah, she is attractive, so I am shy to say anything. I'm a naik (good) boy. I'm also scared that maybe this will provide her a chance to talk to me, and ask me for date. I want to stay away from this. Sister JustOne, you seem like expert, I don't mean expert at blonded or expert at attractive, but expert at the duff. Do you know how to use your full hand on the duff, or you only use finger tips? Do you know more techniques, maybe you can explain it? And also the part about voluntary fasting, this help me to save the money for the walkman. Sister Lady_murasaki_sa, I do not do sword dancing with the womens. I thought the Arab wedding also has baklava for dessert. The attractive and blonded girl has put up flyers in the office. She wants the people to buy toys and clothes for abused children shelter for the christmas. I don't want to do this, because I am not christian, i am muslim. my company agree to do this, but i don't. do you agree? |

I personally wouldn't and don't, however there is no need to make a big hoo haa out of it, politely decline and if asked tell them you have already made donations to charities of your choice. Of all the things to worry about! >:( Just watch the evening news - murder, corruption, bombings. Do these things lift your heart? Are they a sign of the beauty of creation? Do you enjoy the suffering and misery brought about by the hands of evil men? Someone who in this time of evil and corruption can find some joy and happiness in life ought not to be "picked on". Please straighten out the priorities here and don't seek to kill what is good and beautiful! |
