| [slm] Yayyyyyy we can chat again.... I missed all the regular chatters... from our crazy icon box chat days...!! This document will go in the FAQs later.. The chatbox appears down there on the madina opening index page. It's not a real "chat" but is what is called a "shoutbox". It should work on the latest IE and Netscape, have not tested it on Safari or anything else people use. The newest messages appears at the top and right now it's set on 30 second refresh. This makes for very slow chat, but a nice leave a message type thing. You enter the message in the box and press Talk! I took out the scroll bar but you can click in the box and move your mouse up and down and it will scroll through old stuff..remember that whatever is typed in conversation is public to everyone who logs on. I'll try to clear it out every now and then... Please note that all rules of the Constitution apply to this Chatbox as well. P.S. This feature is for members only!! Thank you come again ;) |

| [wlm] It does refresh the chat portion only because its an iframe and it reloads every so many seconds. I changed it to 60 so it should be easier on the server... For some reason sometimes it works in netscape and sometimes it doesnt??? |

| [slm], I think my browser confused me (firefox), it shows the refreshing icon (those animated dots going in circle) for the whole page, although its only refreshing the iframe. |

| [slm] after uninstalling and installing again i figured out what the bug was!!! if you get : when you type then you need to logout and re login to use the chat.. for some reason it doesn't pick up the cookie of ur username and so won't let you chat... ariteyyyyy alhamdulillah we figured that one out!! |
