Donating/ Orphanages

I was wondering if anyone knows of orphanages in other countries that
are in need of donations of baby and toddler items.
Here in the US there are many groups with closets of things,
I know, I have visited one recently with lots of stuff.
Churches also have food pantries and clothes closets.
Do local Mosques have these things for families in need of help?

Yes sister...during this awful war several wonderful Islamic and non-Islamic
organizations have had to flee because of the fighting...The Red Crescent a Islam version of the Red Cross. Doctors without Borders, CARE..as you may
remeber Margaret Hussan was the director and murdered in Iraq. These agencies and the relief workers put their very lives on the line in war torn impoverished nations around the world. They desperatley need basics like food, water, and
blood, and medicine. Agencies like CARE and the Red Crescent are good places to start. Sudan is in crisis as well. They are not scams be careful you can download
their sites for more information and in some cases may go to your Zakat.
Our Prophet (pbuh) encouraged that those who could afford do their part to
help the unfortunate. Good Luck.

Wa-Salaam
