| Please remember me in your prayers, I am going into surgery in the very near future as soon as I can arrange for help and take care of other issues. I'm quite scared to be honest and this should of been done a year or two ago. I had an ultrasound Sat and the problem has increased by 20% It is times like this one worries what they need to fix and say cause one never knows what will happen even with the most simple proceedures. (This is not simple yet not bad, I don't think) If I have offended anyone and I am sure I have cause of my blunt and rough nature. Please forgive me, I always speak from the heart and mean well even if it doesn't come across right. |

| [slm] may Allah (swt) protect you from any harm aameen see this link for protection: http://timbuktu58.blogspot.com/2004/09/duas-for-protection-and-deliverance.html the ayatul kursi: (Surah al-Baqarah 2:255) اللّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This verse is called Ayat-ul-Kursi.] and the last two surahs: Surah 113, al-Falaq (1-5) بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ In the Name of Allah, the Ever-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving! قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ 1. Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ 2. "From the evil of what He has created; وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ 3. "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ 4. "And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots, وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ 5. "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." Surah an-Nas (114:1-6) بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ In the Name of Allah, the Ever-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving! قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ 1. Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, مَلِكِ النَّاسِ 2. "The King of mankind, إِلَهِ النَّاسِ 3. "The Ilah (God) of mankind, مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ 4. "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ 5. "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ 6. "Of jinns and men." There is a book called "Hisnul Muslim" by Saeed bin Ali al-Qahtani, which contains authentic duas. There are some very good ones for after fajr and maghrib. Many have published it, including Darussalaam. Also available as a free download from some sites, including http://www.sultan.org also see: http://makedua.com/ basically, ayatul kursi, and the last two surahs are a must. In addition these two duas. 1. بسم الله الذى لا يضر مع اسمه شئ فى ا لارض و لا فى السماء و هو السميع العليم In the name of Allah in the presence of whose name nothing can cause harm, whether that be from Earth or the skies. 2. اعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق I seek refuge through Allah's (SubHana Wa Ta`ala) complete "kalimaat" from the harm of all things that He has created. both 1. and 2., to be recited three times after fajr, and three times after maghrib. recite the last two three times before going into surgery. A female surgeon told us she makes every one of her patients recite number 1. in these last two. I hope someone comes up with transliteration of these. In any case, the translation should be sufficient. |

| [slm] Sis.aziza don’t worry nothing except what ALLAH wants will happen . and inshall-allah what ALLAH wills from your surgery is a full cure .This surgery is not frightening ,its just you haven’t had surgery before .Don’t think of it at all and leave everything for ALLAH. he will be with you INSHA-ALLAH And we are with you with our duaa |

| [slm], dear sister! You will be in my duas for succesfull surgery and quick recovery. Don't worry, sister if you leave everything to Allah, your heart will find rest and calmness and you will be strong enough. Ask forgivness from the most Mercifull from now till you fall asleap at the surgery table and thank Allah for His favours on you now and after you come back from the surgery. InshaAllah you will be healthy again and soon talking to us. We are going to miss you :)Don't forget us in your dua as well! Take care! |

| Thank you everyone for both posts and private messages. Se7en, that was too cool and actually made me feel pretty good. Seen the surgeon today, surgery will be delayed 2 to 3 months (if additional tests are ok) So that other medical matters can be dealt with that will make things easier during surgery and healing. I was also quite uncomfortable with the surgeon (first time I had met her) and would like to find another. |
