| Asalaamualaikum, What do people think about it? I watched a bit on their website and became alittle concerned. I know it is Muslim TV, not Islamic TV, but i still think it is crossing the line a little too much. Like a show that is just girls and guys dancing, called something like salam canada (i didn't actually see it but someone told me about it). Someone else watched a cartoon about prophet musa where they actually show him. I could go on. I'm sure there is good, but at this point there seems to be more harm then good. It also kind of worries me when stations like CNN endorse it, makes you think. I know it is in the beginning phases, insha-allah it will get better. what are your thoughts? wsalaam |

| [slm]I found out about bridges Tv when they had a segment on the national news(ABC) about it and it's intended audience and its founders. I think mashallah, it's a good effort to reach out to the muslim ummah and possibly a way of showing muslims in a better light. When I talked to some people though, their were concerns about what you just talked of, i.e the cartoons and also that it may be a way alot of innovation(bidah) could be spread. Allah (SWT) knows best. Personally we do not get it in the area I live, so I cannot comment too much. But these are some of the concerns that people have about it, just as you are. And we also know that the husband and wife team just launched this new channel this Summer and broadcast from their house basement.Therefore, they may possibly have not had the chance to figure this whole thing out.
