| Assalaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh.. I've been listening to the "Hereafter" series lately, and it got me thinking: Is anyone really ready for the day of Judgment? SubhanAllah, we pass the day expecting another to come, without giving really giving the akhira much thought. The Sahaba's (ra) eyes would be filled with tears at the mere mention of the Day of Judgment. We need to put our priorities in check and start giving things their due importance. Anyways.. Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem Are you ready? On a day that lasts 50,000 years When the heat is intense and everyone is filled with fear When everything you’ve ever done is presented And you begin to wish you repented Are you ready? When the people run around as if in a state of insanity The same people who passed the dunya in vanity Their hearts will be filled with agony and regret Are you ready? Ask not when this day is, But rather ask yourself what you have done to prepare for it: Are you ready? On a day when the pregnant woman will drop her load And the nursing mother will forget her nursling Are you ready? A day when even a child’s hair will turn grey The same day that so many of us have been trying to delay But the fact remains that you can not put off the inevitable Are you ready? The Day will come with heat blazing intensely That the people will begin to sweat immensely And only 7 groups will be in the shade of Allah, On a day where there is no other shade Are you ready?
