| [slm] My friends and I are trying to see a couple of these movies before the Oscars. Tell me what you think of them. Ray Hotel Rwanda Aviator Sideways Finding Neverland BTW, I watched Closer. Don't watch it with kids or teenagers just because it has Julia Roberts. It is not a chick flick in any way. It is a film worthy of analysis. Many people have been quite offended by the language in it. |

| [slm] I'm interested in what people think of House of Flying Daggers. I found Hero to be quite empty as a film - although it was beautiful to look at, it was tedious to see the same basic story repeated again and again from different viewpoints. I wonder is House of Flying Daggers similar in this way? Also is it clean? [wlm] |

| [slm] I haven't seen any of the movies you've mentioned but I did see Team America: World Police. That was one strange movie! Avoid it if you can. |

| [slm] ha ha ha I will. Sounds like one of those films I'd avoid anyway :) BTW Attia, I heard that House of flying daggers is nothing much. But I heard it from someone who liked Hero. So you might or might not agree. I enjoyed Hero but I agree that it was mostly the visual effects that I enjoyed. |

| slm, I have to say I don't watch movies unless someone else has seen it that I know and recommends it or can say something about it, cause believe me I've made the mistake of just watching something and you really don't want that stuff stuck in your mind forever!!... Closer - I heard is very high in sexual content so don't know how appropriate it is to watch? Hero - was recommended and I watched it.. very goryy...but beautiful to watch for sure but Last Samurai is still better... Hotel Rwanda - I heard good reviews but haven't seen it..don't know if I have the stomach to watch something about the genocide of so many ppl |
