| Assalamu alaikum wr wb i've been trying to make donuts 4 the last few weeks, i've tried many recipes online, it all turns out like bread or sumthing else, its neva right, can anyone give me a sucessful recipe?? i'm desperate, i told my father in law i'll make him some and im in bangladesh so i cant get the ready 2 mix packets that i get in the uk. U seriously have 2 help cuz my father in law sed i cudnt n i took a challenge, i need 2 make it before 1st Feb!!! He said if i do make it on time, he will listen to my islamic beleifs. Thing is he is a so called muslim who dont pray but nice at heart, he has many idols in the house n dont pray and i dont want my future child (in my stomach) to b effected by his or her grandparents, never know, he mite accetp cuz of donuts, plz help. i know this sounds silly, just me and my in laws have a very weird relationship. he promised he will get rid of the idols even if i cant make donuts n attempt to make them but to pray n 2 listen 2 y he has 2 pray he wants dounts, i know silly but dats da way life is wassalam A pregnant sister who might not make sense |

| wlm, wow sister that just sounds... just a little... a tad... an eensy bit umm... CRAZY seriously, do u really think he's going to listen to your islamic beliefs just because you made donuts??? and do you think someone would change their beliefs based upon a donut??? i mean wow that's like something my brothers would do when i was younger... if you make brownies i'll give you $50... did it ever happen.. NO so just give it up and do some normal dawah inshallah :) |

| ok maybe this will help. If you can find those little roll tubes of biscuts where your at. The dinner rolls type that come in kind of like a tin roll. Unwrap the outside and the POOF the tin opens open. What you do is slighly flatten them with your hand, (you can even slightly flatten by rolling a rolling pin or even a glass over them.) push your finger through the middle and make a small hole place on side in hot oil for just a minute or two enough to get light brown, then turn over and do the other side. Take out and while hot Dip or roll in suger/cinnamon mix or confectioner (powder) suger and WALA!!!!!!! donuts. Don't laugh, it works, and they are good. |

| Azizah! You gave away my Mom's secret before I did! :o ;) ;D This is such an easy way to make donuts, fast and still good to eat! Hope she tries it! :-) Laila |
