| Assalemu Alaikum I submitted this to the poetry section, but i figured i'd post it here, since i don't know how that works. In the name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Merciful: The flash of the lightning Snatcheth my sight And the thunder deafens my ears It seems my life is all for naught The commotion draweth my fears To the like of a hare In the midst of the rain Dashing and searching for shade And I think to myself After this short while 'Tis a storm Allah hath made Reflect on creation Oh ye who believe There are signs for those that ponder This earth will remain 'Till it's leveled to naught How much time hath we, ye wonder This knowledge escapes us Allah knows best His Will cannot be denied For those who believe And enjoin what is good Lush gardens He will provide Reflect on this now Oh fellow submitters Lo! I telleth thee truly! Believe what ye will I am merely a warner Spread mischief, ye cursed unruly Enjoy yourselves now And act as a clown Fulfilling your earthly passion You cannot prevent it The prophecied day From dead earth: all men re-fashioned What worshippeth ye In that short, lowly life Other gods or perhaps your desires? Now look upon this: The haughty, blind fool Hurled into the Waxing Fires This will yet come to pass Yet ye turneth away Words are naught 'till ye hath burned Believe what ye will Oh arrogant bloke To Allah shall we be returned! There is always repentence Time does still remain Follow not dumb unbelief But the Final Reminder With Prophet Muhammad Before you're consumed with grief I bring clear proof Of the Prophets before us It ends in the Messenger's hand To all of mankind He was certainly sent Will not full submission be grand? - Muneer |
