| dang... here i was saying no one broke the board in a long time... i shoulda said ma'shallah ;( cause looks like the last months threads on this board from the akhwat are gone... anyone know what happenned... it's ok i won't hurt ya... just let me know then i can try to program something to prevent it next time |

| [slm] I was merrily typing a reply to Sr. Kathy's post and for some reason it posted twice mid-type and the posts were both blank!! When I hit delete an error message came up and then I couldn't even enter Akhwat as the error message kept coming up :'(. Certainly hope it wasn't me Sr. Jannah one appears to be having a rather bad run. :( Wassalaam |

| [slm] it looks like a whole year of threads have been affected by this error. did they disappear in the 4th dimension or what? :o - hmmm fozia, don't feel bad. there was probably something wacky going on at the time you tried to post. just yesterday or the day before, i visited this place without logging in, and i kept getting a warning message from my browser saying that the page was running a script - everyting was slowed down and i had to just close the window and the computer! mona ps. i think the threads and posts therein are somewhere on the server - i can tell cos the total number of my posts has not been affected. |

| [slm] :o Well now I know what happenned a couple of days ago! I had come on board and my screen here was freezing and doing nothing. I kept getting a message. So I thought my comp was acting up and turned it off and back up but nope, still did the same thing. The screen would freeze at the main home i.e where you can click on either Bebzi, Ahkhwat or any other forum you wanted to go to. I had to keep on waiting like a min or less before it worked and it was only with Jannah. I thought it was maybe the snow effect but I did not think so. I had no probz b4 when I tried coming on board after Jannah put the snow flakes. Maybe this was the reason, who knows... ::) :-) |

| wlm, Alhamdulillah, I was able to salvage the threads of the last year from a backup I made around xmas vacation time... so we did lose about a month but considering I guess it's aiite. The server seemed to have some kind of glitch but I think u were the last one to post fozia, out of curiousity what were you typing?? ;) arite anyhow I'm gonna do an archive of all 2004 soon inshaAllah |

[i]but[/i] Fatima was helping me, I think she may have pressed an F button you know the one's along the top of the keyboard, the buttons one never uses except in MS word.... | [slm] First of all I think its great that something bad happened to the akhwat cafe threads. lol. Do you guys remember when the longest thread ever, one that I started, in the ikhwan folder mysteriously got messed up. It was a basketball thread. What goes around, comes around, I say. :P |
