| slm, the questions vary in difficulty... remember that you have a week to answer them so you have lots of time to research inshaAllah!!! also you can always use a Fast Forward if you get stuck ;) you send the answer using madina message to the account: admin |

| [wlm] warahmatullah wabarkatuhu sister, Jazak Allah for your response. Well could you give some more hints as to what is meant by research here, i mean what basic knowledge you need to have, where to look for answers, .... Because my only knowledge database as of now on Islam and Islamic history would be 'google' and I know little of ahadeeth and Qur'an. And currently I dont have a single book on Islam/Islamic history. Shameful, yeah :( Put other way what kind of books, litereatures etc are you going to dig the q from. ::) Take care and wasalaam wrb labeeb ;-) PS: I guess I better watch the show from sidelines |

| [wlm] Bro, that is the point of the game... we all learn together!! For example one question could be something to do with Islamic history in China.. and we end up learning alot about that period in order to find the answer... The questions last time were very difficult no doubt.. but we also had 19 dedicated teams so we'll see how it goes this time :) It's not about the knowledge you have. It's all about how dedicated you are.. so if ur up to the challenge go for it, if not u can join The Amazing Audience :P |

| slm, someone might know the answer, someone might take a few days to find the answer.. it all depends on the teams dedication and creative finding resource abilities...think of it like a scavenger hunt... u could give up or u could keep going and some ppl just get lucky ;) |

| [slm] what advice would you give to people that are on the same team? i.e. how to communicate effectively? i.e. should one person do all the work, and the other take credit? what if your partner ignores your IMs? That's a bad sign, right? can't we just email you the answers? that's so much faster then IMs, it takes too long to IM, since the board is slow and all. cow power i guess. lol. |

| wlm, yup u can... (u won't get a point for the first one of course) but u still need a partner.. i think there was a sister who posted in the Need a Partner thread who needed one... the single one's who are participating will be disqualified from winning the prize...!!!! the point of this game is to teach team-building and cooperation... just think of getting a partner as completing half ur madina-deen :) :) :) |

| [slm] Let me start with a 'no sour grapes' comment. We should discontinue best answer extra point. Because it will get too complicated for Phil. We should just give the answer needed, otherwise it will encourage a dissertation on each question and then where does one stop... thesis or book? Extra point for first correct answer i feel is still ok. |

| i agree with bhaloo, but that would be harder because first ofall it is a 'race' and second, it might take out some of the fun... oh well.. i think we should just stick with first one done for now, perhaps the next amazng race we can do that also, if u use the ast forrward, and u send it first, do u get a bonus point? |

| [slm] wrb, Phil, I was wondering from the way you described answer to last q if journeys are to be humanly possible in this age and life. I mean from our team's last answer we seem to have set out on a Burraque ride ;-) Specifically I have following q - 1) Would the journey progress in time? Like if the first one was in the period of prophet Yunus a.s. subsequently we would move forward to events of later times. 2) Would we have to take a ride of that time? That would make us to take a caravan of that period to get to next destination and it should be covered in one week flat. Thus answer to second destination should be within the radius of one week of camel ride from city of Nineveh or boat ride if we are starting from the Mediterranean. Or could we take an airborne caravan for the second destination just to get there in one week? Hope you are not exhausted. We took a direct flight from Ankara to city of Nineveh (modern Mosul, Iraq) and wondering if we should be leaving the city at this time or stay put to fulfill more pressing needs ;-) Take care and wasalaam, labeeb ;-) |

| wlm, oh my goodness.... u all are really obsessed with this game!!! it's not that hard... really... it was supposed to be fun... don't think about it too much and just play.. don't think of reality too much just go with the flow.... just think of the gatekeeper in monty python and the holy grail... ppl traveled thousands of miles to try to find the treasure and to cross the bridge they had to answer the timeless old man... 'what's your favorite color?!' remember what the answer was... hahaha think about it ;) |
