Need help with computer problems!?

my computer is weird.   first off, all of a sudden this adware/spyware warning comes up, and it blocked my browser so i couldn't browse the net.  then, i got someone to send me (one via msn the other via aim) spybot and ad aware, which i ran.  it got fixed forlike a day, then i had the same problem...and for about a week, i've been running both programs everyday. now all of a sudden, after a week, my norton kicks in scans everything and there is no problem with anything...but now i have a symantec antivirus notification that comes up every ... second. (i timed it) anyway, it's the same threat found every second..so i figure it loops somehow, then norton deletes it, and then it comes back somehow.   how do i GET RID OF IT? thanks.
