| alsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Ullahi wa barakatuh:) Okay sista's...i need some advice....a good friend of mine is travelling to pakistan and offered to pick some clothes up for me...but i have no idea what to ask for? Are there any good sites to check out so i can get some ideas? I love pakistani clothes but don't know what's good and what's not..please help :-/ |

| as salaamu alaykum, hope you're doing well sis :) here are some nice things you can get from pakistan: -- really really inexpensive costume jewelry, like cool earrings, necklace/earring sets -- nice bangles -- a recreation of your favorite outfit/jilbab, or an outfit you like in a picture: tailors there are awesome at recreating styles :) -- a nice pashmina or cool dupatta -- a nice sari! saris never go out of style :) I don't know too many links, but here's one site that has some nice "fusion" styles [western styles combined with desi]: http://www.tazeenhasan.com/ salaam :) |
