Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

I have a co-worker whose parents converted to Islam later in their lives.  She is not muslim herself.  When her mother passed away a few years back, she was very upset because she could not follow the funeral procession to the graveyard.  Her father is quite elderly too so I think this issue will come up again relatively soon.... could someone please advise me how to deal with her questions regarding this issue?  are there any differences of opinion in this regard?

If you tell her she can meet her mother and live with her everlastingly isn’t it a good news? Then tell her she can follow her mother’s faith(ISLAM) to  reunite with her in the paradise Inshallah

Some times there comes small reasons a person find him/herself reverted or repented. The matter of not following her mother seems very minor problem but may be ALLAH want  her think of following her for ever
