Hi Guys, Last night i had a dream which felt so real and i wnted to ask u guys wat shud i do abt it. The thing is tat i really want something 4 the future and i hav been supplicating to Allah and asking him to grant me it cos i know tat is the best thing i can do. Yesterday i waz looking at a picture of my brother who died abt 8 yrs ago, i waz talking to him abt this thing tat i wnt (weird i know) anyway then in my dream i waz asking him if i will get tat thing and he said no, but i also asked him a few other things and his reply to them all waz no, the thing is the dream wasnt really clear but i wnted to ask u guys what shud i make of this shud i believe the dream and stop my supplication or shud i tak it as any other dream.

I know that Allah says tat there are 3 types of dreams 1 frm Allah(the good dreams), 1 frm the devil(scary, bad dreams) and others wen ur mind is unravling during sleeping which is wat i think this dream waz) and i know tat ur also not ment to tell anyone abt ur dreams. But wat shud i do shud i tak this as a sign tat wat i wnt will not happen, i.e. tat then i shud stop supplicating or shud i ignore it and see it as anyother dream, and carry on wid my supplication. Cos i cant help wnderin wat if it waz frm the devil to mak me fink tat my supplication wont be answered therefore i turn away frm Allah. Wat shud i do? Any advice will be gratelly appreciated.

[slm] no reason why you should take this as a sign, so keep supplicating. Even if what you are asking for isn't granted in this world, something far superior will be reserved for you in the Hereafter.

May all your halal wishes and duas come true

Well I am not a scholar or expert in dream interpretation but what ever I know about dream interpretation according to Quran and Sunnah is that if you see any of your dead relative then what ever you listen from him or her that will become true word by word. Because the person is now in the place where lying is not possible, so I think whatever your brother said would become true.

Seeing dead people is also attributed as that person's forgotten wishes would come true and taking something from dead people is good and giving something to dead people in dream means we will lose that thing.

I'll agree with earlier advice that there is no reason to stop supplication in fact that shouldn't be stopped in any circumstances.

Allah knows the best ........
