| AA If you divide the Quran into seven parts, each part is called a manzil. That's all there is to it! |

| assalaamu alaikum I think.... i think it refers to the scheme that people used to use (or still do) when their routine is to finish the Qur'an in a week, hence 7 manzils. If i remember correctly, the first manzil would be al-Fatihah + the next 3 surahs. The next would be 5 surahs, then 7, then 9, then 11, then 13, and then on the last day it would be all the mufassal surahs (Qaf onwards). Its something like that. btw. congratulations on your conversion. May Allah make your journey an easy and blessed one. |

| asslamoalykum..MIT thanks a lot taking time to answer my question in detail ....yes it make sense to me now..... learn something new...me and my friend try to figure out ...we end up like must be easy for hafiz to memorizing the quran.
