No what i meant is like what are some examples of it

For example, when you give a loan of $100 to someone and require that he/she returns the loan to you after a year along with $5 for each month, that is ribaa.

Another example is if you buy a car whose value is $15,000.  But you cannot put down the entire amount at once so you make an agreement with the seller that you will pay the total amount in 15 payments of $1,000 each.  The seller says, well, since you're not paying the whole amount at once, you will have to pay 15 payments of $1,100 each, where $1,500 will be the total interest on the car.  This is also ribaa.

There are *many* examples, and of different kinds also.  But examples such as above are most relevant to our times for most of us.
