Can you guys give me some feedback?

As salaamu alaikum

I am involved in the launching of Zum Zum Superstores, a modern, new grocery store that is much like your conventional grocery store, except that every product is 100% Halal. This means no more reading the labels of a box of your favorite cookies, or wondering the ingredients of your favourite candy. It also means your ethnic food shopping done in one stop.

In this regard, we have prepared a survey. I'd like you to take a few minutes to fill it out, and spread it to others so we can understand the needs of Muslim consumers better. Please mail me at amisra[AT]zumzumsuperstores.com for any comments or questions. As well, pass the link to as many Muslims as you know. Although this is designed in Canadian prices, feel free to fill it out even if you are from somewhere else. Just leave the dollar questions blank please.

wa alaykum alsalam wa rhmat Ullahi wa barakauh,

I love this idea..i was just thinking about how much of a need there was for this the other day.

I just filled out the survey and will pass it on insha'Allah

The overall success of a store lies in many things that were questionned in the survey...but it should also be appealing to non-muslims. Think about it..i'm not sure many Muslims would go and  buy products at a visible christian/jewish/buddhist store. It just makes the atmosphere more comfortable for more customers.

Also, definately research what makes big store chains successful.
cool!

excellent idea, mashaAllah

"Think about it..i'm not sure many Muslims would go and  buy products at a visible christian/jewish/buddhist store"

i live in a predominantly jewish area of london, and we do sometimes buy bread/cakes etc from jewish bakeries, but i think non-muslims would be mor reluctant to purchase from an obviously-muslim shop, but it would depend on how modern and up-to-date the shop looked as well

a lot of the ones we go to are so dusty and old-fashioned and quite frankly not welcoming at all, even for me!

Jazak Allahu khairun for your responses.

Please pass this link by email to all your Muslim friends.  We especially are looking for feedback now in the 24+ range, as well as with women.

Jazak Allahu khairun and wasalaam.  If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
