I rode my bike today morning to Coyote hills. Did'nt manage to take much pictures though cause I was too busy climbing. One interesting thing though is that I saw Imam Zaid and his hiking group just leaving (I thought they left ages ago).

Total mileage for the trip was 56 Miles. I only got about 15 pictures. Ah well. :)

Here they are:

Zaytuna already has their pictures up on their website...

I would have joined them except that they were there too early. I would have had to leave at 5:00am to get there on time.

I did have a nice bike ride though.

Did you bike 56 miles? or does that include driving/biking? If you biked it all or even 1/3 of that - much props. Seems like an interesting ecosytem over there  8)
For some strange reason some of the pictures remind me of the area off of the new jersey turnpike? Does anyone feel the same?

Nice though :P

Yeah I biked. I'd have driven except I don't have a drivers liscence (The DMV in my area sucks >:(). Total time was about four and a half hours.

The San Francisco bay smelled strongly of fish. There were lots of gulls and critters. I nearly ran over a lizard :o.

I'm thinking maybe go to the fishing pier near the dumbarton bridge and catch some fish. But first I gotta learn how :)

I love that place--Coyote Hills (only 15 mins from home! ;)). So nice and peaceful, especially early in the morning.

For a more strenous hike, I usually go to Mission Peak. When you climb the whole thing, the view from the top is beauutiful and you can see the entire city.
Also, its great exercise!

Here is a pic I found online of the "top view" from Mission Peak:

56 miles is'nt much to someone who bikes alot. Literally hundreds of people do it every day. A lot of people talk about completing centuries and double-centuries. Of cours that would take all day. But compared to that, 56 is'nt much ::)

Her'es what it looks like:

This pic is when I first bought it. It's changed a bit since. I got a sweet deal from ebay. http://www.motobecane.com/MBUSAmpr.html lists it at 750 USD. I got it for about 375 off of ebay.

I survive on fig newtons. About one fig newton per 20 something miles. I also guzzle water like a whale during the ride. That's why I have two bottles (And even that's barely enough).
