Star Trek: The Madinat Al-Muslimeen Generation. Aaaaaannnnnd Action!] Captain Jannah [gets out of her command post]: Trust? Trust can you hear me? Couselor Trust [faded voice]: Aaaaannyyyyooonnnne? Captain Jannah: Trust? I’m here. Can you hear me? Timbuktu: Captain? I don’t think she can hear you, sir. Captain Jannah: There has got to be a way to communicate to her. [clicks on comm. Badge] Doctor Kathy? I need to have one of the crew members that was in the interstellar matter to assist me at the Bridge. [Scene 3: Act 2: Sick Bay] Doctor Kathy: Captain? They have been burnt with radioactivity and needs to be quarantined as well as treat their burns. I’ve been able to speed up the healing process, but they are not responding to the pain medication. I can’t allow anyone one to leave Sick Bay. Mystic [looks at the Doctor]: Counselor Trust is still out there. We need to do something quick. Captain Jannah: Understood Doctor, but as soon as you can spare someone, please send them down. Doctor Kathy: Will do Captain. [turns to Mystic] Trust is still out there? [Mystic frantically nods] We will have to work fast. Nomi: I’ll go. Doctor Kathy: You have not completely healed Ensign. Nomi [gets up from fetal position and slightly loses balance. Bro Hanif catches him by the arm]: But Counselor Trust needs my help. See I’m fine. [Nomi stands up straight]. Doctor Kathy: Ensign? Back onto the bed. That’s an order. Nomi [climbs back on, but sitting]: I’ll sign a waiver! Anything? Bro Hanif: You are not well. Don’t go on trying to be a hero when you are not ready to be one, it just leads to failure. Nomi: Bhai please? Counselor Trust is in pain and she needs us right now. I won’t fail. I’m fine. Look at me. I’m Grade A, the top of the line, USS pride! [straightens back and shoulders] Doctor Kathy: Don’t over do it Ensign. [takes tripod to scan Nomi] Well….your reading is up 80 percent so if you are up to it, I can give you this pain med. It’s fairly strong and should last an hour but with what I’ve been able to accomplish, it will only work for about a quarter of that time. Bro Hanif: 80 percent is good enough for me. Let’s go help the Counselor, Nomi. Doctor Kathy: Here are some more dosages. Just give it to him when it wears off. Bro Hanif: Thank you Doctor. Nomi: Thanks Doc. [Scene 3: Act 3: Bridge] Captain Jannah: Number 1? You have the Bridge. Bhaloo: Yes, sir. Captain Jannah: Ensign Seven? Keep the communication open. Ensign Seven: Yes, sir. Captain Jannah: Timbuktu? Try to keep in contact with the alien life form. If you make contact let me know. I’ll be in Sick Bay. Counselor Trust [faded voice]: Stttooooppppp ttthhhiiiiissss ppppppllllllleeeeaassssse…. Doctor Kathy [from comm badge]: Captain? I’m sending down Ensign Nomi with the assistance of Bro Hanif. Captain Jannah: You saved me the trip Doctor. [Bridge door slides open. Bro Hanif and Ensign Nomi walks towards the Captain.] Captain Jannah: How are you feeling Ensign? Nomi: Fired up, Captain. Captain Jannah: Can you recall anything from your time in the interstellar matter? Nomi: It was horrific Captain. Counselor Trust [faded voice]: Ssssstttttooooopppppp hhhhuuuuurrrrrttttiiiiiinnnnngg mmmmeeeeeee… Nomi: We need to get Counselor Trust out of there! Captain Jannah: We are trying our best Ensign, but we need your help. Tell me anything you remember. Nomi: It was strange. We couldn’t see each other, but we could feel each other being burned alive. Slowly burning….from inside out. Bro Hanif: That explains why everyone in Sick Bay is still in pain. Captain Jannah: Still? What about Nomi? Nomi: The good Doctor has given me a strong dosage that should last me an hour but it only works at 15 minute intervals. She’s applying this on everyone every 15 minutes. Counselor Trust [faded voice]: Ppppppllllllleeeeeeaaaaasssseee ssstttoooppppp… Nomi: Captain? How come we came back and she is still there? Captain Jannah: We believe it was a trade off Ensign. Her for all of you. Nomi [walking towards the Bridge window]: I was able to hear the Counselor speaking to us. Calming us. She said that everything was going to be all right. [turns to look at Captain Jannah] We have to go back in there to get her out. Bro Hanif: Did you not just come back from that torture chamber? Captain Jannah: Seven? Open transmission. This is Captain Jannah. Release my crew immediately or I will be forced to …[Captain Jannah starts to fade and transport off the Bridge]. Bhaloo: Captain? Seven? Try to put a lock on the Captain. Ensign Seven: I can’t sir. She’s already gone. Bhaloo: BrKhalid? Come with me. Bro Hanif? You have the Bridge. Ensign? Want your first rescue mission? Nomi: You don’t need to ask me twice. Bro Hanif: Here. [throws the med device to Nomi] You might be needing this. [Bhaloo, BrKhalid, and Nomi walks out of the Bridge and towards the Bebzi Stand] [Scene 3: Act 4: Ships north corridor going south] Bhaloo [clicks comm. Badge]: Bhaloo to Abu Hamza? Abu Hamza: Yes Commander? Bhaloo: Can you lock on to the Captain and the Counselor from the interstellar matter? Abu Hamza: I am unable to locate the Captain, and Counselor Trust is just too weak for us to capture. Bhaloo: Keep trying and get ready to keep a lock on me, BrKhalid, and Ensign Nomi. We’ll be in transporter 3. Abu Hamza: Sir? If you are going into the interstellar matter then the lock will be impossible. Bhaloo: I don’t want to hear that. Abu Hamza: The radioactivity is too rapid for us to control the cellular dissection of the human body. Bhaloo: You have 1.5 minutes Chief. [Scene 3: Act 5: Engine Room] Abu Hamza [walking towards Bulwark and JustOne]: What do you think? Bulwark: That’s tough Abu Hamza. Let’s take a look at what the ship can offer. JustOne: Computer? Pull up all the data you have stored on the ship's infrastructure and it's force field. Also give us the design specifications of the ship's trasportation modules. [Looking at ship’s specifications and transport operations design specs.] Abu Hamza: Computer stop. I think we’ve got it JustOne. Bulwark: Use the ship’s force field. Abu Hamza: Exactly. Bulwark: I’ll work on the transport modules. Abu Hamza: And I’ll restructure the ship’s force field to accommodate. I think this will work. JutOne: It just has to. [And cut.] Ma-assalaamah..... |
