| assalaamu`alaikum JazaakiLlah Khayr Sister. The reason I asked is because he is coming to Singapore sometime this month I think. I would like to know more abt him before deciding if I should go for his lectures. Also, Dr Ingrid Mattson (I hope ive got her last name right). Me wife was asking me about Dr Ingrid, I dont know much of her apart from reading the comments abt her on this board, which are positive. Once upon a time, speakers like Dr Bilal Philips, Dr Ali at Tamimi and Dr Imran Hosein were invited to S'pore. Now they are bringing in the likes of GF Haddad and Kabbani . . . . . `Uthmaan |

as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, U know, I was just reading over that old thread and my enchantment with the brother's ideas and philosophy has sharply declined as I have continued to read more of his work. If he were to come to my locality, I think that I may attend the lecture, but I would be prepared to engage my intelligence and analyze the ideas he presents for their merit. | assalaamu`alaikum thanks once again sister. i will inshaa'Allah forward this info to me wife. Dr Ingrid will be here a week after Dr Khaled if i remember right. besides the two lectures he's giving, he'll be conducting a two day workshop titled - Muslims under seige. Dr Ingrid - is she based in canada or US? is she originally from sweden? |
