My Allah forgive their sins and protect their families. Ameen.
We should remember that the British government has been lying for a very long time. We dont know whether they are guilty or whether they labled the first brown faces they saw amoungest the victims as suacide bombers? Can we really trust anything they say after the lies they told us about weapons of mass distruction?
They have lied about every other person they arrested in their war against ISlam.
They have said things with no evedence, they have arrested with no evedence and they have gone to war against two peacefull nations with no evedence.
So make excuses for your brothers and their families.

Anyway, about 50 people were killed, and every one sees and every one talks and every one condems. countless messages have been pasted on this board and others. Muslims say "this isn't Islam".
Tell me, If you heard that the British or their American masters, or their Israeli masters had murdered 50 people, would it register in your mind? would you post it? would you comment on it? Cause this is something that happens every day, and no one cares. no one writes about it, and no one cries about it.
The media views eatern lives as being worth less then western lives, muslims lives as being worth less then christian ones and brown lives as being worth less then whites ones. Do we agree with them in our hearts? when we heard about 50 londoners dying, did our hearts feel more pain then when we hear about 50 iraqis dying?
Less then 3 thousand died in America when the plains crashed and Muslims cryed, screamed, collected money and went in to depression. What did they do when that number were burnt to death in Gaugrat?
We can't expect the Kuffar to start viewing our lives as being equal to theirs, if we view our lives as being worth less then theirs.

I'm Sorry for what has happened to your mom, jannah and to all the innocent muslims and non-muslims alike...

This is an issue I have a hard time coming to terms with...

This global war on terror (GWOT) has been ongoing since 'Operation Iraqi Destruction Part-1' in 1990. Before that, every thing was cool (at least on the surface) between the western government's/people and muslims living there...

We had pretty much amicable relations with our neighbors. All of the sudden, their thinking and attitudes turned up-side-down...

What changed? they saw and interacted with us on a daily basis. They saw the real muslims, not the currently fabricated fairy-tales about Islam & Muslims...

So some been severely brainwashed and manipulated by their media & government's...and other's were raised from childhood hating Islam & Muslims.

People who don't research, analyze nor think on their own but rather be spoonfed the information...Information that is exposed as a lie once compared with the individual or the muslim community and their actions.

In their case, lies repel truth and reality...People who can't or refuse to think for them selves and who obediently, blindly and willingly allow other's to lead them astray are described by the jewish people as "GOYEM" (that translates into mere Cattle)...All they require to be happy is to be allowed to Graze in Peace and have a Barn to dwell in...

I just heard from a friend yesterday, she's a hijabi in louisiana. she stopped by Burger King to get some burgers for her kids who were in the car... the person gave her what she didn't ask for (this time on purpose, they added bacon), she went back to exchange it and was ridiculed for refusing bacon, then the manager (a woman) punched her in the face and tore off the hijab, customers started cursing her out. Cops took a break from dunk-n-donuts and came over and told her she was "Trespassing" (in a public fast food joint! And they give these morons weapons and power, amazing!), and evicted her, while saying she'll be arrested and will be payed a visit by child services to take her kids away, if she  took this any further. They even had her car towed while she and her kids watched helplessly.

At my job, people I've known for many years, all of the sudden changed. One guy was heating popcorn in the microwave, walked by me (no one else was around) and I said that smells nice (the popcorn), he said, 'yeah...I Love the Smell of Burning Iraqi's!

We Are All Collateral Damage
By Zaid Shakir

The Roads to Peace

The roads to peace are paths of war,

The gentle dove will leave her scar.

The moral men to say the least,

Will kill us all to get their peace.

The roads that lead to victories gained,

Are filled with people full of pain.

Only our Creator knew,

We’d kill so many to save so few.

The recent terrorist tragedy in London is disheartening. Once again some nefarious force has seen fit to totally disregard innocent human life in pursuit of a vile agenda that few of us know and even fewer could understand. The response of the world leaders assembled in Edinburgh for the G-8 Summit is perhaps more disheartening, as it promises more of the misguided policies that have proven so ineffective in prosecuting the war on terror. The leaders of the Western powers continue to imply that they will fight violence with more violence of their own. If current events are any indicator of future developments, such a policy will only serve to beget yet more terrorism.

This is a war being guided on both sides by self-righteous murderers whose motives and proclamations mirror each other. Each side sees God as being exclusively with them. That being the case, the restraint and judiciousness urged by Christian and Islamic theology to guide the execution of war is cast aside with wanton impunity. Each side manipulates a vulnerable public to create a climate that allows for the perpetuation and the inevitable escalation of the ongoing slaughter. Each side reserves the right to use the spectacle of indiscriminate violence to “Shock and Awe” the opposition, yet will deny that its tactics can be described as terrorism. Each side sees their civilian population as hapless, innocent victims, while the suffering innocent civilians on the other side are acceptable collateral damage.

There will never be any real progress in ending this terror war, until we realize that we have all become collateral damage, unacceptable collateral damage. That being the case, there is no they or we in this affair. We are they and they are we. When a child in New York never sees his mother again because she was crushed in a collapsed tower at the World Trade Center, we all have suffered an irreplaceable loss. When an impoverished family in Afghanistan is bombed from the face of the Earth by a misguided missile, something of our collective humanity is destroyed by the blast. When a child in Iraq is born with gross birth defects due to his mother’s exposure to depleted uranium, we have all been deformed. When London commuters fear ever again entering the underground, because of the ill-advised actions of a handful of desperate fanatics, their insecurity touches us all.

We, the collaterally damaged, will continue to exist in a state of dehumanizing loss, deformity, and insecurity until we rise up, unite, and refuse to support at any level the policies of leaders who continually fail to heed one of the surest of all political lessons: killing innocent civilians will never lead to a positive outcome for the transgressing party. This realization is the first meaningful salvo anyone could fire in a real war on terror. However, as long as we are not as moved by the suffering of innocent civilians anywhere as we are by the suffering of those close to us, it will be a salvo that remains unfired.

Oh Br. Z no idea what to say to your posts....

I have to say though I am still really puzzled and very sceptical that this was an 'Al Qaeda' attack,......

I can say one thing for sure this no longer feels like home.... wander if the Nazis started their regime in this fashion if so now I know what it feels like.

   [slm] Sis. Fozia,

Check out the alternative media on the Internet for views & analysis that differ greatly than that of the various government's.

Also the blogs that are anti-globalization/empire/new world order/ Bush Senior &
Junior mentioned.

You'll be amazed at the facts the 'officials' don't want us to know.

Compare what the officials say and what the other side says, see which is more
logical and come to your own conclusions.

The vast majority of these site are run by non-muslims, the info gathered are from
non-muslims, and they are exposing the veil of lies and deceptions that has
 descended upon the planet...

the tyranny & oppression isn't just aimed at muslims, it encompasses everyone.
Islam is just the convenient tool to pass laws that will affect muslim's and non-
 muslim's alike.

This is our Spanish Inquisition.

Need for Patience
Shaykh_Abdurahman
07/15/05 at 01:45:51
Asalamualaikum wa rahmatallahi wa barakatuhu,

May peace and salutations be upon the Prophet Muhammad.

Its nice to join this board.  I hope everyone is well.

Just a couple things to mention inshaAllah.

A general word of advice for everyone on the board and all Muslims:

If a member of any govt. agency (FBI, etc) comes to your door to ask you questions, please tell them kindly that you will speak to them in their office with your lawyer present.  Never talk to them without a lawyer present.

Alhamdulillah, Muslims are good people who believe in the Hereafter and do not harm others.  The FBI has every right to investigate legitimate crimes.  However they should not target individuals or communities based on their religion.

Secondly, as Muslims we should always bear in mind the Hereafter.  Allah has made a hellfire which will be a terrible punishment for the wrongdoers, oppressors, and tyrants of the earth.  It is not our job to punish.  Allah has said, "Indeed on you is the calling, and on Us is the accounting."  None of the Prophets were sent to punish their people, but rather to call them and clarify to them their evils so that they may repent.

We should always take to heart Allah's words in the Quran about patience for the Akhirah.  This world is only a temporary place.  Allah has made a jannah for the believers, those who bore with patience, and were forgiving in the dunya.  Do we take the akhirah seriously?

When someone mentions Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, we should think about the akhirah.  In the Hereafter Allah will call to account the wrongdoers.  We should not transgress in this world.

May peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad.
Welcome

We should never talk to them
abdullahcohn
07/15/05 at 13:05:31
we should never talk to them. Let them do their own dirty work. There is a thread about Ali tamimi being in prison, who talked to the FBI to put him there? and next time you talk to a FBI, who do you think would end up in prison?
Would some guy go to prison for giving money to a Palistinian orphan? or saying some thing bad about Israel? or teaching a Part of the Quran that zionists or homosexuals dont like?
These are the Muslims they arrest, and they decide to arrest them cause people talk to them.
