Recently our masjid library was donated a computer. I would like to purchase some software. Quran, games, clipart, prayers, teaching Arabic, etc... anything beneficial to the community.

What have you bought, used and recomend?

Hmmm... no one responded to this post.

Does this mean
all the stuff out there is garbage?
or no one is buying the computer stuff?
or everyone is enjoying the summer and has not had time to reply?

That's right Sis Jannah, the Aalim is one of the best CDs available out there for Islamic studies.
I'd also like to recommend the Bayanul Quran (an Urdu translation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Muhammad Ali with extensive commentary, and includes the Arabic text. The commentary is about twice as long as in the Maulana's famous English translation). For updates on what's new and good in the Islamic CD world, one could also visit http://www.simplyislam.com/cts.asp
