Wassalaam ---------------------------------------- Shot man not connected to bombing Police cordoned off a 200-metre area around the station A man shot dead by police hunting the bombers behind Thursday's London attacks was unconnected to the incidents, police have confirmed. A Scotland Yard statement said the shooting was a "tragedy" which was regretted by the Metropolitan Police. The man was shot dead after police followed him from a south London flat to Stockwell Tube station on Friday. Two other men have been arrested and are being questioned after bombers targeted three Tube trains and a bus. The statement read: "We believe we now know the identity of the man shot at Stockwell Underground station by police on Friday 22nd July 2005, although he is still subject to formal identification. Good response to CCTV plea 'They unloaded five bullets' "We are now satisfied that he was not connected with the incidents of Thursday 21st July 2005. "For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets." The statement confirmed the man was followed by police from a house in Tulse Hill that was under surveillance. | Ian Blair has been proven to be a lyer, will he resign? He has lied about the young man who his officers killed for no reason other then being a Brown man with a big coat. how can we be sure that he didn't lie about the four men who died earlyer? How can we know that this wasn't an Israeli Black Flag Operation, and the police looked for 4 brown skinned bodies in the sites to blaim for it? How can we be sure that they weren't Tabligies carrying their sleeping bags in their back packs ready to knock on some doors and sleep in some musjids for the next 3 days? Remember the man was shot after they caught him. they held him down and shot him until the officers gun was empty. I don't know what you lot think, but I think all this happened to win the Blairs, Both Ian and Tony some support. To make people in Britian think "US(A)"/"and Them". The people were getting tired of all the Muslims being arested with no evedence, this made Tony Blair look bad for making these laws and Ian Blair look bad for implementing them. Now they both look Good. And they like it! Ian is asking for new laws allowing the police to keep Muslims in prison for 3 months with out charge or evedence. Tony wants ID cards etc, do you think any MP will oppose them after this? once these laws have been made, they are there for good. even though they were made against Muslim, they will affect every one. The law to remove the need for evedence to arrest, imprision and deport citizens was made for one man, Abu Hamza. But loads of people have been arrested and are about to be deported. Most of them Kaffers Bankers who were arrested for doing things in this country that are not illigle in this country!!! The Police Have copied Killing on syspician from the Israelis, what makes us think the haven't copied "Black Flag Opperations" from the Israelis? what we know now is like the Israeli government/Media, the british government/Media can never be trusted. The advice this give to Muslims is, if Police men come for you, Run, because if they catch you, they will kill you. They killed this man after they caught him and held him down. if you run, you might get away and live! This man might not even be Muslim? he might be a Hindu BJP supporter, or a white Nazi BNP supporter with a suntan? As I said, when Evil rules are implemented, any one can be the victim. |

| wlm, this is really very shocking... i think that the muslims there should organize a peaceful protest against the racist methods the police are using... interesting how the politicians are now showing up at mosques in UK today.. kind of reminds me of bush in the DC mosque before he then continued on to war against two muslim countries i think there is alot the police in the UK are not telling the public.. their statements seem to change hourly.. whether they are lying or covering things up or just overzealous racists remains to be seen in the meantime let us pray for all the suffering muslims in every country in the world |

| I thought he was also innocent, and subhanAllaah, to now have that confirmed for real makes me sick to the stomach at the thought that this guy has lost his *life*. I'm shocked that they actually killed him and really horrified... What saddens me equally though are the people who are defending the police's actions. I've just had an argument with someone about this, and they just keep repeating, 'Well, what if he had had a bomb on him? They had to kill him so he couldn't detonate it." :-( He's dead though and was innocent!! Doesn't that mean anything and isn't that enough in itself to condemn the police??? :-( |

| slm, if he had a bomb on him why did they "pile on top of him" and "hold him to the ground" and then shoot him at point blank range ?? they should have shot him from 10 feet away... it makes no sense...he wasn't carrying any type of bag either... bbc's website has an entire eyewitness describing the whole thing |

| [slm] The thing that surprises me is that the UK police admitted that they killed an innocent man. Why would they admit to this? They could have continued to lie, and say that he had bombs. Or was it maybe that there were too many witnesses there and they had to come forth with the truth? ??? What more lies are they trying to hide? With a protest that might become really volatile, because you have a lot of people in the UK that are really angry and charged up against the Muslims for the subway bombings, and to them they probably don't care how many innocent Muslims are killed. |

And no one would have known he wasn't, but they plot and plan, and Allah plans. Then they found out he was a Brizilian. Is Ian Blair going to explain how he was directly conected to the bombings? Is Ian Blair going to Explain why the police thought that he was so directly connected that they decided to execute him and come on TV saying we have killed some one who was directly connected to them bombings? Is Ian Blair going to resign over the lies that he said, on national tv directly after this man was executed for looking too Muslim. After this man was executed, a Muslim came on TV defending the police for shooting him after they had caught him, now it is known that the man was not a Muslim, will he appologise to the non-Muslim community for defending the killing of a non-Muslim? Now that it has come to light that they were lying about this young man, and they admited it only after they found out he wasn't an Asian Muslim. We have to assume that they could have been lying about other people who they accused who could not defend then selves by pleading Kaffer. I am not only talking about what happened in London, I am talking about it all, Algeria, NY, kenya, Iraq, there are a lot of attacks that are done by unknown groups and have no advantages for the Muslims. Why do we have to believe they were done by Muslims? why take our enemies word for it? The Jews say it is anti Semetic to Blaim Jews for 9/11. Isn't it Anti Semetic to Blaim the Arabs for it? If not, why not? And why isn't it Anti-Muslim to accuse Muslims every time something happens? Are they accusing us of doing this because they would have done this to us if we had invaded their nations the way they had invaded ours? Because the number of civilians killled in London is the same as the average number of civilians the British and Americans kill in Iraq alone each and every day! |

| wlm, subhanallah... its interesting how Allah exposes oppression somehow some way it comes out..... muhammad durah happenned to be captured on film, pictures of abuse of prisoners show up at a small photography shop in the UK, and these cops kill the wrong man who is not asian and not muslim. and sadly enough perhaps that is the only way people will realize how wrong it was.. otherwise they could have said he's muslim and in some way somehow they would try to connect him to the bombings or terrorism... |

Killing a human being with no reason is like killing the whole humanity. The Iraqi children, Palestinian women, London civilians, new York businessmen... are all the children of Adam! |

One wonders how this story would have come out in the absence of independent eye witnesses. What is apparent though from a few local phone ins that I've been listening to though, is that there are many people from the general public who back the the action of the police and say they had no alternative given the current climate. If we thought community tension was bad after 7/7 they just got a whole lot worse yesterday. |

| [slm] The police were not condemend in this instance because (and this is only my view obviously), the man was thought to be Muslim and brown skinned. Our lives are worthless to them, so it's OK if our innocent are shot and killed because hey we [i]may[/i] be carrying bombs.... | i cannot even begin to understand why 5 shots?! its truly sad isnt it? they have already pinned him down to the ground, and then unloaded 5 shots. the vengeance, the hatred the policeman had in his heart, hoping that this chap was a muslim and he had nailed him! if they killed him accidentally by 1 shot which was meant to injure him, then perhaps we could accept and understand. but here he wasnt even fleeing . . . . |

| More info: He was a electrician, he had been late for work and was warned that he would lose his job if he was late again. Thats why he was running. He wasn't running away from anyone! He got in to the train just in time. Just before it left. He thought he would get to work on time. But he never did. as soon as he got in to the train, he was pushed to the ground. Held down. and had a gun emptied in to him. This shot to kill police is not new, it was originally introduced to get rid of IRA suspects. There was a famous case, which was filmed and got to the press. They saw who they thought was the man they were after, shot him, went up close to him, and shot him until they ran out of bullets. and then to make sure he was dead they started to hit him on the head with a gun. He survived for some reason, he was the wrong guy, he was a teacher. the film got published. I think he sued and wan some compensation, can't remember how much. Anyway, the pic below is of the brazilian guy. The police said they shot a Pakistani when they were saying that he was directly connected to the bombings. They thought this guy was a Pakistani, so they followed him and killed him and called him a terrorist who was DIRECTLY connect to 7/7 attack. does he look like a pakistani to any of you? May be this means there is some truth to what the police say when they are accused of being racist, "we are colour blind", that or they thought he was a Albino Pakistani wearing contact lenses. Anyway, They needed to kill a Paki, saw what looked like one, caught him killed him, blaimed him, and he turned out to be White! His Family know what happened though: "They had to kill someone to show the whole population they are working and make the country safe," Pereira (relative)told the BBC. Standing in pouring rain, with Brazilian flags and banners declaring "Five bullets in our hearts" and "Sorry is not enough," friends could not explain why Menezes would have run from police. (He wasn't running from the police, it is now known that he was running to get to work on time to keep his job) |
