[slm] How's your Arabic? One of the members of the board sent me a cure for cancer, though its all in Arabic and is a couple of pages long, may Allah (SWT) bless this individual abundantly. AMEEN I managed to ask some expert Arabic translators (may Allah (SWT) bless them) to help in translate the documents, and insha'Allah as soon as they are done translated I'll put it up here. I know part of it is translated and they said they would work on it this weekend, so I'll see how much of it I can get up as soon as possible. May Allah (SWT) cure your mother and help you and your family in this difficult time. AMEEN! |

[slm] I take it your mom hasn't started chemotherapy? One of the side effects from chemotherapy that my mom experienced was arthritis, pain in the joints, and a lot of swelling. She went to go see an acupunture doctor, and the doctor said this is due to poor circulation and so after 2 or 3 sessions, she no longer has the joint pain, and now after every chemo session she visits the acupuncture doctor. I've gone ahead and emailed you the original Arabic to your email account that you registered with on the board. |

As salamu alaykum, Insha'Allah everything will go well for both of your mothers. In June my mother was diagnosed with liver cancer. When the doctor went to perform surgery, he found that the cancer had spread. She should start chemo this Wed. insha,Allah. My mother also does acupunture twice a week, which I highly recommend. She walks five miles a day. As soon as we found out that she had cancer we switched to all organic foods and we mostly cook legumes. My sister made a database of the foods that she should be eating every day, so that she will be as healthy as possible once the chemo starts. The hardest part is watching her be in so much pain. Please make dua that she will become Muslim! [wlm] Marcie |

[slm] I will make duahs for your mom as well Marcie and all suffering people out there..may Allah grant your mother guidance and enlighten her through her trials (amin). My mom has had six chemos to date, and so far massages, walking (a lot), drinking lots of water and praying has helped her a lot Alhamdullillah. She is also conscious of her diet, eating lots of nuts, fruits, nutritious shakes and things like liver and spinach to help with her blood. The last chemo was particularily hard on her, due to an infection as well as a really low blood count. They decided to put off the surgery until her blood count is higher...so far she reads at 14,000 while the average person should have 100,000...yikes :( Alhamdullillah...it just amazes me, that only through her did i begin to realize that there are way *too* many people out there with cancer. Subhana Allah, it seems like everyone I talk to knows someone really close to them or they have been affected by it. (or is it that my perception is now different?) Sorry guys, thanks for letting me share...and ramble on. May Allah grant us sabr jameel during these trying times. (amin). [wlm] |
