On the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations of India (Aug 15) and Pakistan (Aug 14), a poetry recitation night is being held at the Taj Hyderabad Restaurant (Dubai, UAE) on 15th August 2005. The show, which begins at 8pm onwards, is expected to be attended by around 20 Urdu poets from all around the UAE, including one from English and Arabic. Jaihoon has been invited to represent English poetry at the literary event. The event is organized by Urdu Post, a recent Urdu daily published from Dubai.
